CareersMV is the employment platform for the Maldives. It brings together the people looking for work, the employers hiring them, and the data on who is hiring where and for what pay. It has four connected sides:

• Job seekers find jobs at resorts, in government and across the islands, set up Job Radar for the roles, places and pay they want, get alerts, apply, and keep track of their applications in My career. Everything is free.
• Employers post jobs for free, manage the applicants in their dashboard, and pay only when they want more reach: a Boost for one job, or CareersMV Pro if they recruit all year.
• CareersMV Media shares jobs, advertised salaries, career guides and job-market figures through search, social channels and email.
• CareersMV Data is the cleaned record of Maldives vacancies underneath it all: search, recommendations, alerts, CareersMV Insights and the employer analytics all read from it.

Employers post jobs on CareersMV directly. To give a full picture of the market, CareersMV also collects public vacancies every hour from Gazette (412 open), Job Maldives (1,749 open) and Job Center (2 open).

• Jobs posted on CareersMV say Apply on CareersMV: you apply with your profile and CV, and the employer receives it here.
• Jobs collected from other sites say Apply at the original source and link to the notice. They keep the source’s wording, and its name is shown on the listing.
• Most Gazette notices are in Dhivehi and are shown as the Gazette publishes them, right to left.

Every listing, posted or collected, is read into one controlled set of fields: the role, the category and department, the employer’s industry, the island and atoll, whether it is at a resort or in government, the employment type, and the advertised pay as rufiyaa a month.

• Fixed rules come first. Where they are not sure, an AI model picks from the same controlled lists; it cannot make up a category, and answers outside the lists are rejected. Admins can correct any listing.
• Duplicates are counted once. The same vacancy often appears on more than one site. CareersMV links the copies to one record, so counts, alerts and recommendations see one job. Right now 95 open listings are copies of a vacancy already listed.
• The original listing is never changed and its source is always kept, so the record can be read again as the rules improve.
• Pay is only shown when the employer or the notice states it. CareersMV never estimates pay, and salary figures always say they are advertised.

Right now CareersMV lists 2,165 open vacancies from 460 employers, and 574 of them were added in the last seven days. 1,477 are at 177 resorts (CareersMV Resort Jobs) and 412 are in government and the public sector. Only 3 advertise pay; the salary pages summarise those.

Every count on the site is worked out from the listings, never typed in.

You can search and read every job without an account. As you open jobs, the home page starts recommending similar ones; nothing about this leaves your browser except a small cookie (see cookies).

With a free account you can set up Job Radar (the roles, islands, atolls and minimum pay you want, with email alerts), follow employers and resorts, save jobs, and track every application from saved to hired in My career. Some jobs take applications on CareersMV: your profile and CV go straight to the employer.

Posting is free. Create your company, post a job, and receive applications in your dashboard. Free posting has reasonable-use limits: 5 live jobs at a time and 5 new posts a day, rising to 50 and 30 once CareersMV has verified your company page. If your company already has vacancies on CareersMV, its page exists: find it and claim it for free.

• Boost, MVR 499 a job: the Featured label and a pinned place above the latest jobs for 14 days, first place in matching job alerts, and another share on CareersMV’s social channels.
• CareersMV Pro, MVR 990 a month or MVR 9,900 a year: 3 Boosts every month (they do not roll over), the candidate pool and the advanced recruiter tools.
