Welcome to Careers Maldives (CareersMV), the employment platform for the Maldives. We list jobs that employers post with us and job listings we collect from other sources, to help you find employment opportunities and to help employers hire. This document outlines the terms and conditions for using our services.

By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this document. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

To use our services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to terminate your account if we detect any unauthorized activity.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use and disclose information from our users.

Most of the job listings and content aggregated on our platform are sourced from other websites. The respective ownership and intellectual property rights for each job listing belong to their original creators and sources. We do not claim ownership over these listings or their content.

You may not use our services to engage in any illegal activities, to harass or harm others, to violate any laws or regulations, or in any way that is deemed unacceptable by us.

We provide our services “as is” and without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of our services.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Maldives. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Maldives.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new terms on this page.

CareersMV is the employment platform for the Maldives. It lists jobs that employers post on it directly, and vacancies it collects every hour from the Government Gazette and other job sites. CareersMV is not the employer for the jobs it lists.

For a collected listing you apply at the original source. For a job that takes applications on CareersMV, your profile, cover note and CV go to the employer who posted it. Hiring decisions are the employer’s.

Posting a job is free, within the reasonable-use limits in the listing standards (currently 5 live jobs, or 50 for a verified company). We may change those limits, and refuse or close posts that are duplicates, spam or break the standards.

A Boost costs MVR 499 and is a one-off payment. Applied to a live job, it gives that job the Featured label and a pinned place above the latest jobs for 14 days, and puts it first in matching job alerts. Boosts you buy and have not used can be used for 12 months. A Boost does not promise any number of views or applications.

CareersMV Pro costs MVR 990 a month or MVR 9,900 a year (2 months free), paid in advance. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, which you can do at any time from billing; it then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. It includes 3 Boosts every billing month; Boosts you do not use in that month do not roll over.

Payments are in Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR) and go through Stripe, at the prices on pricing. Refunds follow the refund policy. Job packs and hiring plans bought before October 2026 run until they end, and unused prepaid jobs from them can be used as Boosts.

Your profile, applications and job posts are yours to keep accurate. The privacy policy explains what is kept and who can see it.

Jobs posted on CareersMV must meet the listing standards, and the prohibited uses above apply to them as to everything else on the site. If you use AI-assisted posting, check the draft before you publish: you are responsible for what the published job says.

Company pages can be made from the vacancies CareersMV collects. Only someone who works for the company and may act for it should claim its page. We check claims before approving them, and may remove access that was claimed falsely.

If you find a security problem, please tell us rather than testing it further.

Collected listings are shown as their source published them, and figures such as salaries are as advertised. Check the details with the employer or the original notice before you rely on them.
