Avani+ Fares Maldives is a single resort on Fares Island, in the western part of Baa Atoll. The property sits inside a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is reached by seaplane or speedboat from Velana International Airport. It offers 176 villas, pavilions and overwater residences, plus several restaurants and bars, a spa, and a house reef used for snorkelling and diving. The resort opened in 2023 and is operated under the Avani brand, which is part of Minor Hotels. Minor Hotels is named as a partner in the development alongside Cyprea Group, a Malé-based conglomerate.
