Responsibilities
- 01Participate in daily departmental/unit briefings.
- 02Ensure that the cleaning protocols and procedures are executed accordingly.
- 03Help ensure that all areas of the hospital, including guest rooms, public spaces and administrative areas, are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- 04Monitor and inspect cleaning processes to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- 05Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- 06Respond to patient and visitor concerns or complaints related to cleanliness.
- 07Work with other supervisors to train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols and infection control measures.
- 08Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and personal protective gear.
- 09Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and maintenance, to coordinate cleaning schedules and address facility needs.
- 10Assist in the preparation of reports for hospital administration and regulatory agencies as required.
