Requirements
- A year of experience in Food & Beverage Service or any related field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including wine and cocktail service, preferred.
- Experience in the Maldives resort industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- 01Greet and welcome guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- 02Take orders from guests and provide recommendations on menu items, beverages and packages.
- 03Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
- 04Record guests' order details and repeat the order to the guest to check for accuracy.
- 05Serve guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- 06Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
- 07Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a polite and professional manner.
- 08Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs and dining room floors.
- 09Set up mise-en-place for various facility offerings, such as special dinners, wedding and birthday celebrations, and picnic party setups.
- 10Maintain knowledge of current promotions and up-sell food and beverage products to guests.
