What you would do
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Maintain dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, flatwork ironers, steam equipment, presses, and other laundry machinery.
- Maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, combi ovens, fryers, grills, mixers, and exhaust systems.
- Perform routine inspections and servicing to minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
What they are looking for
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
