About the role
A skilled Buggy Mechanic is needed to maintain resort transportation vehicles at The Halcyon Private Isles, a luxury resort in the Maldives.

What you would do
- Carry out regular servicing, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of resort buggies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational faults.
- Maintain buggy batteries, charging systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and other components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure reliable operations.
- Respond promptly to buggy breakdowns and repair requests from operational departments.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, servicing, spare parts, and maintenance history.
- Ensure all buggies are clean, safe, roadworthy, and ready for daily resort operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
What they are looking for
- 2–3 years' experience as a Buggy Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, or similar position.
- Hands-on experience with electric and/or petrol-powered golf carts, buggies, or similar vehicles.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, battery, and charging systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to carry out preventive maintenance and repairs independently.
- Good attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Physically fit, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced resort environment.
