What you would do

• Assist the Boat Captain in the safe navigation and operation of the supply vessel
• Support the loading, unloading, and proper securing of cargo to ensure safe transportation
• Carry out routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the vessel, engines, and safety equipment
• Monitor fuel, oil, water, and other operational requirements before each voyage
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Maintain accurate voyage logs and report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly
• Assist in emergency procedures and ensure all safety equipment is operationally and readily available
• Coordinate effectively with the resort, Malé logistics team, suppliers, and port authorities to ensure smooth operations
• Support the Captain in maintaining a clean, organized, and seaworthy vessel at all times

What they are looking for

• Valid boat captain or marine operation certification/licence
• Previous experience operating passenger boats, preferably in a luxury resort
• Good knowledge of marine safety procedures and navigation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic spoken and written English
