Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- To carry out all administrative work of the National Urology Centre as directed by the Head of Department.
- To monitor the work of staff working in the administrative office of the National Urology Centre.
- To obtain the items required for the administrative office of the National Urology Centre by indent from the store.
- To participate in meetings held by the National Urology Centre and to prepare meeting minutes.
- To prepare and send circulars/memos and similar items that need to be sent to other departments on behalf of the National Urology Centre with the approval of the Head of Department to the relevant parties.
- To prepare and send replies to circulars/memos and similar items received by the National Urology Centre to the relevant parties.
- To monitor the work of Clinical Assistants/Receptionists working at the National Urology Centre.
- To enter, file and manage circulars and emails received by the National Urology Centre, to reply to circulars and emails, and to prepare and send documents that need to be sent from the Department to the relevant parties.
- To enter and manage duty rosters of staff working at the National Urology Centre into the system.
- To provide information relating to inventory details of assets held at the National Urology Centre to relevant parties.
- To look after the office building and to coordinate with relevant parties regarding all maintenance work of the building.
- To ensure that all matters relating to patients seeking healthcare at the National Urology Centre or Department are handled properly and to supervise and maintain those matters.
Educational level and work experience
- 1. Having obtained a Master's degree at Level 9 of the Maldivian National Qualifications Framework in a field relevant to the work of the post.

- Having obtained a degree at Level 7 or 8 of the Maldivian National Qualifications Framework or a Bachelor's Honours degree in a field relevant to the work of the post, along with 4 years of work experience in the field of the post's work.

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
