Household Income and Expenditure Survey 2026 Enumerators Recruitment for Field Operations in Atolls (Sh, Th and Fuvahmulah City)

This bureau is scheduled to conduct the 3rd Round of the Household Income and Expenditure Survey in October 2026 in Sh. Atoll, Th. Atoll, and Fuvahmulah City. The purpose of this survey is to determine the average household income and expenditure, the proportion of expenditure on certain items and the poverty line, as well as other economic indicators.

For this survey, enumerators are required as set out below. Training for this atoll is scheduled for 25 – 29 October 2026 and field work will be conducted from 31 October – 08 November 2026.

Participation in this survey is open to individuals who have obtained GCE O Level education or equivalent, are between 17 and 45 years of age. Preference will be given to those with experience in surveys or similar work, and those who are willing to travel to different islands and work.

The following is a detailed breakdown of the allowances to be paid to enumerators working in this survey.

- For each day attended in training - MVR 150.00 (for those who complete training and participate in field work)

- For each day of field work - MVR 500.00

- Food allowance - MVR 300.00

- Phone allowance as -/30 MVR

- Travel expenses, accommodation and subsistence arrangements for enumerators training/working outside the atoll shall be provided by M.B.S.
