Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Providing medical and general indent for requests sent by departments to procure items.
- Inspecting and checking inventory management of equipment and materials sent to IJMH and therapeutic hospitals.
- When issuing items from the store, ensuring that expired items or previously received items are issued first by checking against the stock indent in a consistent manner, and maintaining a balance in the bin card on a daily basis.
- When issuing items from the store, ensuring that items are issued only after checking against the stock indent in a consistent manner.
- Identifying items at stock reorder level and bringing such matters to the attention of the supervisor responsible for monitoring stock at that time.
- Filing the written documents of each day daily and completing the work of that day on the same day.
- Issuing items according to regulations in situations where items need to be issued outside official working hours.
- Attending to requests sent by theatres for just-in-time items needed for operations conducted in hospital theatres and issuing the items.
- Carrying out all the work related to preparing purchase requests for requests sent by hospital theatres and processing them through procurement according to regulations.
- Working on procuring items needed for stock. In this process, identifying items at stock reorder level and bringing such matters to the attention of the supervisor responsible for monitoring stock.

- Reconciling the daily items received in the store with checked items related to item requests.
- Maintaining printing items sent to the printer for departments of the hospital without providing them to the printer.
- Carrying out the work of disposing of general and medical items that need to be disposed of according to established procedures.

Scope of work of the post:
Work related to administrative management and administration, human resources, finance and related technical work, and study and administrative work.

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
