About the role

A professional and energetic Yoga/Zumba instructor is needed to plan and conduct engaging wellness and fitness sessions for resort guests at a resort.

What you would do

  • Plan and conduct daily or scheduled Yoga and Zumba classes for resort guests.
  • Develop engaging and varied exercise sessions suitable for beginners, intermediate participants, and different age groups.
  • Lead guests through appropriate warm-up, exercise, stretching, and cool-down routines.
  • Demonstrate correct techniques and provide clear instructions throughout each session.
  • Ensure all classes are conducted safely and in accordance with appropriate fitness and wellness practices.
  • Monitor participants during sessions and modify exercises based on individual fitness levels or limitations.
  • Maintain a welcoming, energetic, and professional atmosphere during all classes.
  • Promote resort wellness and fitness activities to guests and encourage participation.
  • Coordinate with the resort management and relevant departments regarding class schedules, venues, equipment, and guest activities.
  • Inspect and ensure that exercise areas and equipment are clean, safe, and properly arranged before and after each session.

What they are looking for

  • Certification or formal training in Yoga, Zumba, Fitness, Exercise Science, Sports, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Yoga Instructor, Zumba Instructor, Fitness Instructor, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of yoga practices, Zumba routines, stretching, warm-up and cool-down techniques, and general fitness principles.
  • Ability to conduct safe, engaging, and well-structured classes for guests with varying fitness levels and abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and guest-service skills.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and capable of demonstrating and participating in exercise routines.
