What you would do

• Diagnose, service, repair and overhaul marine outboard engines.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Troubleshoot engine, fuel, electrical, cooling and steering systems.
• Maintain detailed service records and manage spare parts inventory.
• Work closely with the Operations team to minimise vessel downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company SOPs.

What they are looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Marine Outboard Engine Mechanic.
• Strong experience with Yamaha, Mercury outboard engines.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with engine rebuilding, lower unit repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of marine electrical and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Marine technical certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
