About the role
A full-time role servicing, repairing and overhauling marine outboard engines for Best Dives Maldives, which operates diving and water activities in the Maldives archipelago.

What you would do
- Diagnose, service, repair and overhaul marine outboard engines.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Troubleshoot engine, fuel, electrical, cooling and steering systems.
- Maintain detailed service records and manage spare parts inventory.
- Work closely with the Operations team to minimise vessel downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company SOPs.
What they are looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Marine Outboard Engine Mechanic.
- Strong experience with Yamaha, Mercury outboard engines.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with engine rebuilding, lower unit repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of marine electrical and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Marine technical certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
