About the role

What you would do

• Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa's culture and service standards awareness
• Operate the staff shop efficiently and ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, counters, equipment, glassware, and storage areas
• Provide friendly and efficient service to colleagues at the staff bar/shop
• Ensure products are correctly priced, properly displayed, and within their expiry dates
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards
• Ensure responsible handling and service of alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations
• Assist with staff events, celebrations, and special functions when required

What they are looking for

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role, with experience in a 5-star luxury resort in Maldives will be an advantage
• Previous experience in inventory, bartending, retail, cashiering, staff shop, stock control or F&B service is preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• High level of honesty, reliability, and accountability
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
