About the role

Oversee and coordinate all guest seaplane and domestic transfers for Soneva resorts in the Maldives, working with seaplane operators, airline operators, and resort teams.

What you would do

  • Manage and coordinate daily guest seaplane transfers for all three Soneva Maldives resorts
  • Work closely with seaplane operators, Reservations, Front Office, and Airport teams based on guest arrival and flight details
  • Monitor international flight schedules and communicate any delays, cancellations, or changes to relevant teams
  • Ensure guest transfer details, manifests, and special requests are accurate and communicated promptly
  • Coordinate solutions for transfer disruptions, missed connections, weather delays, and other operational challenges
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with guests and operational teams throughout the transfer journey
  • Ensure all transfer arrangements comply with safety requirements and operational procedures
  • Monitor transfer performance, guest feedback, and service standards, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build strong working relationships with seaplane operators and all internal stakeholders
  • Lead and support the Transfers team to deliver a seamless and personalised guest experience

What they are looking for

  • Minimum five years of experience in guest transfers, airport operations, resort logistics, Front Office, or a related hospitality role
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a luxury resort or aviation-related operation
  • Good understanding of Maldives seaplane operations and international flight coordination
  • Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple guest movements and respond calmly to last-minute operational changes
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to guest service
  • Flexibility to work according to flight schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage
