About the role
A Recreation Assistant at Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives creates engaging and memorable recreational experiences for guests through a variety of indoor, outdoor, and wellness-focused activities.

What you would do
- Ensure the sports centre is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
- Maintain, inspect, and care for all sports and fitness equipment.
- Ensure all sports equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored.
- Manage reservations for the pickleball court, badminton court, and other indoor recreational facilities.
- Monitor stock levels of sports and recreational equipment and report replenishment requirements.
- Assist guests with the use of sports facilities while ensuring compliance with resort policies and safety procedures.
- Organise and facilitate recreational programmes, beach games, tournaments, and guest activities.
- Conduct or assist with fitness sessions such as aqua aerobics, Zumba, yoga, and other wellness activities where required.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by creating enjoyable and memorable recreational experiences.
- Ensure all recreation activities comply with the resort's operational and safety standards.
What they are looking for
- Previous experience in recreation, sports, fitness, hospitality, or a similar field.
- Sound knowledge of gym operations and recreational facility management.
- Experience in conducting aqua aerobics, Zumba, yoga, or other group fitness and wellness sessions.
- Ability to organise and lead beach games, indoor sports, and outdoor recreational activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an energetic, friendly, and outgoing personality.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage.
- Confident in interacting with guests of different nationalities, cultures, and age groups.
- Physical fit, enthusiastic, and capable of working in a dynamic outdoor environment.
