About the role

What you would do
- Conduct and assist with fitness, stretching, yoga, and wellness sessions for guests of varying fitness levels.
- Provide guidance and support to guests on the proper use of gym equipment and correct exercise techniques.
- Ensure the fitness centre, yoga pavilion, and wellness areas are clean, organised, and fully operational at all times.
- Monitor guest safety during fitness activities and respond appropriately to any incidents or emergencies.
- Assist in developing and promoting wellness programmes, fitness activities, and special wellness events.
- Conduct regular inspections of gym equipment and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of guest participation, equipment inspections, and wellness activities.
- Ensure all wellness facilities comply with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by engaging with guests professionally and responding promptly to needs and enquiries.
- Support the Spa and Recreation team in achieving departmental objectives and enhancing guest satisfaction.
What they are looking for
- Certification in fitness training, yoga instruction, physical education, sports science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a gym, fitness centre, wellness facility, resort, or hotel environment.
- Sound knowledge of fitness training principles, yoga practices, exercise techniques, and wellness concepts.
- Current first aid and CPR certification will be an added advantage.
