About the role

A skilled and experienced electrician is needed to join the construction team at Villa Eden Resort Development Project, carrying out electrical installation, wiring, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting works.

What you would do

• Carry out electrical installation and wiring works for resort villas, buildings, staff facilities and other project infrastructure
• Install and terminate cables, conduits, electrical fixtures, switches, sockets, distribution boards, control panels and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics and technical specifications
• Perform cable pulling, glanding, termination and connection works
• Install lighting, power distribution and other electrical systems as required
• Conduct testing and inspection of electrical installations and identify and rectify faults
• Assist with installation and connection of electrical equipment, panels, generators, pumps and other project-related equipment
• Carry out electrical troubleshooting and corrective works
• Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades to ensure smooth progress of construction works

What they are looking for

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrician
• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
• Previous experience in construction projects, resort development, commercial buildings or large-scale projects will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, distribution systems and electrical equipment
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and safe working practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural construction team
• Physically fit and willing to live and work at a resort construction site/island location
