- Overtime pay: Overtime pay will be paid in accordance with the method set out for the days on which overtime is worked.

Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Carrying out the work required to procure items or services needed by the Department.
- Announcing the need to procure goods and services for the Department, providing information, and evaluating tenders in line with government financial regulations.
- Preparing the documents to be submitted to the Bid Committee for procurements carried out by the Department, and carrying out all the work of submitting procurements to the Bid Committee.
- Preparing letters to be sent to various parties in connection with the decisions of the Bid Committee, sending award letters, drafting agreements, arranging signing of agreements, and preparing and sending purchase order forms.
- After the work under an agreement is concluded, checking the delivery and quality of the work, and preparing and sending a letter confirming the work has been completed.
- Carrying out the work of keeping the fixed asset register up to date in line with the government financial regulations and the procedures set out, and handling the process of vendor and asset creation in accordance with the regulations.
- After goods purchased for the Department have been entered into the office inventory and numbered, and handed over to the requesting party, assisting the Admin Section in maintaining assets within the warranty period.
- Managing and maintaining the disposal of items that must be written off and items that must be destroyed, and keeping the asset register updated.
- Managing, maintaining and carrying out all work relating to agreements drawn up for outsourcing work by the Department, and informing the responsible supervisor of the work.
- Arranging domestic and international travel for the Department, including air travel, accommodation and meals, and providing the information to the relevant parties.
- Before the end of each month, checking that invoices for services obtained and items purchased by the office have been received, obtaining invoices that have not been received, and sending the related correspondence to the Budget and Finance Section so that payments can be settled.
- Carrying out maintenance work required within the Department in line with the government financial regulations.
- Arranging procurement for the administrative needs of special events held by the Department and for seminars/workshops, such as food and refreshments, in line with the government financial regulations.
- Taking part in urgent emergencies arising for the Department and special matters in which all employees must be involved, assisting in the work, and actively taking part in and assisting with additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the office within the Civil Service regulations.
Requirements of the post
A Level 7 or Level 8 degree on the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives, or a Bachelor's Honours degree, in a field related to the work of the post.

- Copies of educational certificates obtained;
(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.
(b) A copy of the certificates issued by a higher education institution in the Maldives and a copy of the transcript; or a copy of the letter confirming course completion and a copy of the transcript.
6. Copies of documents as specified below demonstrating work experience:
(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
