Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Receiving and safeguarding the Ministry's money, and depositing money to be paid into the bank, in accordance with government financial regulations.
- Scanning vouchers prepared by the Budget Section.
- Filing documents relating to the Ministry's finances and maintaining the filing system.
- Sending the monthly report of the Ministry's revenue to the institutions authorised by law and regulations, within the periods they request.
- Helping to prepare vouchers for the Ministry's budget-accounted expenditure, so that payments can be released within the period set out in government financial regulations or the period agreed with the party requesting payment.
- Checking the documents submitted to prepare payment vouchers, to confirm whether they are supporting documents appropriate for the expenditure.
- Temporarily carrying out duties included in the job description that are assigned by the section head, in situations where another section employee's work is not yet settled or where that employee is unavailable.
Requirements of the post
1- Having obtained a Level 5 Diploma or Level 6 Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree on the Maldives National Qualifications Framework in a field related to the duties of the post.

5- Copies of educational certificates received;
(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.
(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.
6- Copies of documents relevant to the following categories showing work experience:
(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
(b) If employed in a registered government institution, or a registered private company or private
