Transforming Fisheries Management in South West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project

In coordination with the World Bank and the Government of Maldives, the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources is inviting interested parties for the "Transforming Fisheries Management in the Southwest Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project" to express interest.

Post: Nursery Assistant

Type of post: Contract (1 year)

Number of posts: 1

Basic salary: MVR 4,465.00

Service Allowance: 1,500 MVR

Supporting Cost Allowance: 700 MVR

Special Duty Allowance: 35% of basic salary

Risk Allowance: If engaged in risky work, risk allowance as per established rules

Food Allowance: 120 MVR for each day of work attendance

Workplace: K. Maniyafushi, Maldives Marine Research Institute

In addition to the allowances mentioned above, allowances shall be provided according to established rules if work is undertaken on official holidays. Furthermore, overtime pay shall be provided as per established rules.

Requirements of the post:

• Must have obtained GCE O level
