Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Replacing toilet and washbasin fittings, including fixing and replacing toilet and washbasin fittings in toilets, walls, ceilings, bathrooms and other areas where tiling has come loose or been damaged.
- Joining hose parts using coupling, clamps, grips, bolts, cement, plastic thread tape, or soldering, brazing and welding, and using various equipment.
- Leak-testing water pipes and water-carrying items with a pressure gauge, and locating leaks.
- Identifying water-supply items in buildings, and connections and places where pipes have been installed.
- Cutting threads using pipe cutters, benders and thread cutters, and making bends at angles.
- Connecting pipe fittings, including water heaters, sinks and all items connected to water, with pipe fittings and fixings.
- Cutting places where pipes and fittings must be laid, and installing supports for pipes fixed to walls and ceilings.
- Replacing water taps, valves, water fittings, and drainage pipes that are blocked or leaking, cleaning drains and maintaining these items.
Requirement of the post
- Holding a Level 3 certificate of the Maldives National Qualifications Framework in a field related to the work of the post.

(b) A copy of educational certificates and transcripts issued by domestic secondary education institutions in the Maldives; or a copy of a course completion letter and a copy of the transcript
- Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:
(a) If employed in a Civil Service post, in a state institution, in a government-funded organisation, a letter issued by that office stating the job held, the duration of employment (showing years, months and days), and the job responsibilities (even if different posts were held in one department).
(b) A letter issued by that office stating the duration of employment (showing years, months and days) and the job responsibilities (even if different posts were held in one department) for work not shown in https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/ from within Civil Service experience.
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(c) If employed in a national or international organisation or association, a letter issued by that organisation stating the job held, the duration of employment (showing years, months and days), and the job responsibilities (even if different posts were held in one department) (this letter must state whether the post held was a salaried position or not, or alternatively a formal letter issued by that organisation stating this fact).
- (d) If employed in a closed government institution, or a closed private organisation or private institution, or a closed national or international organisation or association, a letter issued by that office stating the job held and the duration of employment (showing years, months and days), and the job responsibilities (even if different posts were held in one department), or if such a letter cannot be obtained, the recruitment rules schedule 8 "reference from a closed workplace experience.

Hulhumalè Hospital opened on 7 April 2004, first as an outpatient service and then with 24-hour care from early 2005. It has been run under several governing bodies and, since November 2023, sits within the Malé City group of hospitals, directed by the Ministry of Health.
