It occupies a 17.8-hectare island within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and has operated there since 2004. The resort has 103 villas, including beach and over-water options. Facilities include several restaurants, a spa with Ayurvedic treatments, a PADI dive centre and an on-island marine discovery centre that runs reef and turtle conservation projects. Guests reach the island from Malé by a seaplane flight of around 35 minutes.
