This Authority seeks to recruit individuals for the following position.

Per month: MVR 12,365.00
- Post allowance

Main responsibilities and duties of the post
From cases submitted to the Investigation Committee, investigating cases determined to be criminal in nature, preparing investigation plans for such cases, approving the obtaining of necessary evidence for investigation, presenting investigative persons and questioning such persons, determining the number of witnesses required to be examined in such cases, and conducting other criminal investigation related work.
Requirements:
- A Maldives National Qualifications Framework level 7 or 8 qualification in a field related to the work of the post. Or;
- A qualification at ACCA affiliate level. Or,
- Scope Strategic Level Completion.
(Educational fields related to the post: Taxation, Taxation Studies, Tax Policy, Tax Administration, Tax Management, International Taxation, Taxation Law, Tax Economics, Public Finance, Finance, Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Financial Management, Financial Markets, Financial Planning, Banking, Islamic Finance, Islamic Banking Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Economics, Commerce, Business, Forensic Accounting and Data Governance.)
Other Conditions
- Not to hold any other position while holding a position in this authority and not to engage in any private work similar to the position and responsibilities in this authority.
- Not to be employed in a government or private company and not to be a director on the board of such a company.
- Not to be a majority shareholder of any government or private company.
- Not to be a private trader.
- Not to be a person with family relations to any employee of this authority through a relative applying for this post.

- Copies of educational certificates accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority with transcripts
- Copies of documents confirming completion of primary and secondary education (School Leaving Certificate)
- If employed or have been employed in a position, an official letter showing the responsibilities of the position held or being held
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Copy of identification card showing Maldivian citizenship
- A letter from a previous supervisor or employee who supervised the work of the person applying for the position, showing how that person's work was observed (Recommendation Letter (Optional))
Note:
- If applying for more than one post, the posts being applied for shall be stated in the submitted form.
- Interviews for the above posts shall be conducted with persons who meet the conditions, are educationally at the minimum required level, and only those shortlisted from among those with the highest marks in terms of work experience shall be called for interview.
- Persons shall be selected for these posts based on their educational level and work experience, and after reviewing the form, those with the highest marks in the interview shall be recruited, provided they have no criminal record for the past 5 years.
- If a post of the same level becomes vacant during the recruitment period of a post announced in this announcement, a person from among those who applied for this announcement may be appointed to the vacant post.
- If a person employed in a post within the band of the post announced in this announcement applies for this announcement, that person's position shall remain in the post in which the employee is currently working.
