Requirements
- Proven experience in a leading or supervisory role in Purchasing within the Maldives, preferably in a luxury resort environment
- Strong knowledge of the Maldives purchasing and supply chain environment, including local suppliers, logistics, imports and resort procurement requirements
- Ability to independently lead and manage the Purchasing Department
- Strong supplier negotiation and cost-control skills
- Experience in purchasing for F&B, Engineering, Housekeeping, Rooms and general resort operations
- Strong knowledge of purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, inventory coordination and procurement procedures
- Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills
- Strong computer literacy and experience with purchasing or ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent operational requirements efficiently
- High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail
