Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering.
- Professional engineering registration or certification, where applicable.
- Experience in power generation, diesel power plants, utility or comparable industrial projects.
- Medium-voltage distribution, generator protection and synchronisation experience.
- Short-circuit, load-flow, protection coordination and earthing design studies.
- Good knowledge of IEC and international electrical standards.
- Medium-speed diesel projects of similar capacity are an advantage.

Responsibilities
- 01Prepare the electrical design basis, Single Line Diagrams and load schedules.
- 02Carry out cable sizing, voltage-drop, fault-level, transformer and busbar calculations.
- 03Develop the protection philosophy, relay settings and selectivity study.
- 04Design generator synchronisation, parallel operation and grid connection.
- 05Design earthing, bonding and lightning protection.
- 06Design auxiliary AC/DC, UPS and battery systems.
- 07Review OEM/vendor drawings and coordinate with all project disciplines.
