About the role
A knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier to join the Food & Beverage team at Diamonds Athuruga, a private island resort in the Maldives, managing wine selection and providing expert guest service.

What you would do
- Provide professional wine recommendations based on guests' preferences and food choices
- Present and serve wines according to established service standards
- Maintain and manage the wine list, including availability, pricing, and selections
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all wines
- Conduct wine tasting and knowledge sessions for F&B team members
- Assist in selecting and purchasing wines in coordination with the management team
- Monitor wine stock levels and assist with regular inventory checks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the wine cellar and wine service areas
- Ensure proper wine glassware, service equipment, and presentation standards
- Work closely with the Restaurant and F&B teams to enhance the overall dining experience
