Main responsibilities and duties of the post
(a) Provide guidance to persons visiting the health centre for health care (as per their needs and requirements)
(b) Obtain information about sick persons in urgent cases and inform the relevant parties in a timely manner.
(c) After resolving routine matters that arise during duty, provide guidance on resolving matters that cannot be resolved according to regulations to the relevant senior at that time.
(d) Coordinate doctors' appointment matters and maintain them.
(e) Work to establish good relations with all persons visiting the health centre and maintain friendliness and courtesy with every person.
(f) While on duty at the health centre, stay informed about the operations taking place at the health centre and be ready to provide customers with the information they need.
(g) Check and maintain daily customer relations work.
(h) Work to resolve matters related to the customer relations department in cooperation with management.
(i) Inform the Front Office Management Unit's senior officer of complaints received from service seekers that cannot be resolved.
(j) Carry out the work of educating the public and others in accordance with the regulations of the health centre.
(k) Report clearly to the staff member assigned to duty all matters that arose during duty and matters pending at the end of duty, and hand over.
12- Arranging all necessary preparations and conveying related information to staff and doctors, nurses and the patient's relatives for the purpose of referring patients requiring additional care to other hospitals
13- Preparing bills in accordance with the fixed rate after providing services to ambulance/AED/police and other parties
14- Obtaining a written explanation from staff for cancelled bills
15- Maintaining and managing money received at the reception counter of the health centre
16- Informing parties requesting ambulance services of the means of accessing that service, billing ambulance trip fees, and preparing daily reports
17- Performing work transferred from the counter to staff who are absent from greeting, leave or the office and submitting the same to the office
18- Assisting the doctor in examining patients according to the sequence of numbers issued to patients coming to the doctor, and responding to phone calls coming to the doctor's counter and OPD counter
19- Clarifying conversations occurring between the doctor and patient to both parties in an appropriate manner, and assisting both the doctor and patient during the patient's examination
20- Cleaning the OPD area and consultation rooms, and checking items such as dustbins and waste baskets in the office every night shift, and informing the support services unit according to the procedures set if there is any problem
21- Obtaining all necessary materials from stock for the OPD counter and consultations
22- Actively participating in health promotion activities carried out by the health centre and encouraging and participating in various activities held among staff
23- Actively participating in work that needs to be done in health emergencies, pandemics and disasters
24- Performing official work announced by the health centre, performing work engaged in by all, and assisting in the work of others
25- Responding promptly to phone calls at any time
26- Arranging all necessary preparations for providing care in emergency situations
Requirements of the post
A diploma at level 5 of the national qualifications framework of the Maldives or a level 6/advanced diploma/associate degree qualification related to the field of work of the post must be obtained

Scope of duties of the post

(c) Holding a valid license for the period required for the work
- Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:
(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
