What you would do

• Prepare and cook dishes following standardized recipes and cooking techniques.
• Follow the specification book and report any unavailable ingredients to senior chefs for alternatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas in line with HACCP standards.
• Assist in inspecting coolers and freezers to ensure proper storage procedures are followed.
• Support daily operations by communicating with the Demi Chef de Partie and covering duties in their absence.
• Participate in daily briefings to review menus, requirements, and procedural updates.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed by all cooks and report any issues to supervisors.
• Provide full handovers between AM and PM shifts to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and assist in ensuring compliance across the team.
• Attend and participate in daily briefing meetings to discuss the daily menus, requirements, and any changes in procedures.

What they are looking for

• 2–3 years of experience in Kitchen Chef or a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift.
• Experience in the Maldives resort industry is preferred but not required.
