About the role

An enthusiastic marketing professional is sought to elevate marketing efforts and enhance presence across platforms and key markets for AAA Hotels & Resorts resorts.

What you would do

  • Coordinate in creating a comprehensive plan for planned activities along with budgeting, ensuring sales activities are coordinated and not repetitive.
  • Make suggestions based on changes to market, competitors or economic trends to maximise yield from the market.
  • Monitor overall production numbers from the market and performance of individual partners, assist in reviewing and adjusting offers and agreements.
  • Continue and strengthen relationships with existing partners and stakeholders.
  • Find suitable new partnership opportunities to strengthen market position and achieve revenue goals.
  • Organise and participate in sales calls, regular sales visits to partners and stakeholders.
  • Identify beneficial tradeshows, attend them and carry out follow up activities such as sales calls and FAM trips.
  • Distribute offers in the market to all required parties and ensure they are visible and reach potential customers.
  • Coordinate between partners and resorts for potential or existing bookings to ensure smooth customer experience.

What they are looking for

  • Relevant educational qualifications related to tourism marketing, preferably a degree in marketing, communication, or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience.
  • Experience working in the Maldives tourism industry is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Deep understanding of overall market, relative to business flow to Maldives.
  • Analytical skills: able to identify market trends, economic trends and opportunities.
  • Able to work with different personalities and find solutions to arrive at desired end results.
  • Able to handle multiple coordinated tasks and work on the go.
