Salary, with benefits
- Basic salary: MVR 6,000.00
- Non-practising allowance: MVR 3,200.00 (40% of basic salary)
- Living allowance: MVR 3,500.00
- Service allowance: MVR 170.00 (per day)
- According to the principles set for tribunal staff, overtime payment may be provided
- Pension contribution under the Pension Act of the Maldives
Main Responsibilities of the Post
- Prepare all financial documents and formats.
- Prepare budget reports and reconciliation statements and submit them to the relevant parties.
- Verify receipt of purchase orders and other bills, maintain a register of bills, update the bill register after payment is made, and monitor whether payment has been received by the relevant party.
- Provide data and information necessary for preparing financial plans and procurement plans, and assist with work related to these tasks.
- Assist in processing assets acquired by the tribunal in accordance with regulations, carry out work to be done through the SEPS system, and assist in identifying items that need to be removed from inventory.
- Verify that the money required for goods and services needed by the tribunal is included in the budget, and carry out necessary work related to that.
- Count the money received by the tribunal and carry out necessary work to record that money as government revenue.
- Assist in carrying out work necessary for settling members' insurance.
- Facilitate auditors in auditing the tribunal's financial accounts, and assist the relevant tribunal officials in answering matters for which the tribunal is responsible regarding the audit.
- At the end of each month, check open purchase orders through the SEPS system and verify that goods/services related to those purchase orders have been received and that invoices have been posted, and verify that monthly payments have been made for invoices received in that month.
- Sending other finance-related reports to the relevant parties who need them.
- Identifying and addressing other finance-related matters in consultation with the Supervisor.
- Writing and sending all finance-related documents to the relevant parties, filing them safely and in an easily accessible manner for maintenance and retrieval.
- Assisting in completing tasks unfinished in the section.
- Performing tasks referred by the Tribunal in addition to the main responsibilities of the post, in accordance with the relevant rules and procedures.
Requirements of the Post
- Holding a Level 6 qualification or equivalent qualification from the Maldives Qualifications Authority in Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration or Finance.

- Holding a Level 5 or equivalent qualification from the Maldives Qualifications Authority in Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration or Finance, and having 3 years of work experience.
