About the role
Welcome and serve guests at a resort restaurant, taking orders and offering recommendations on food and beverages. The role is based at Malahini Kuda Bandos in the Maldives.

What you would do
- Welcomes and seats guests in a pleasant and timely manner
- Accurately takes and communicates orders effectively to the kitchen and bar
- Offers recommendations to sell, upsell, and cross sell based on product knowledge
- Assists travellers with their needs and requests, including food allergies
- Maintains the upkeep of the restaurant including compliance with HACCP standards
- Ensures guest satisfaction and ability to confidently handle travellers' concerns
What they are looking for
- At least one year experience in the same role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in the food and beverage sequence of service
- Effective time management, planning, and organising skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, strong work ethics, and ability to work under pressure
- HACCP and WSET Level 1 certification is an advantage
