About the role

Soneva seeks a Learning & Development Manager to shape the learning culture at its resort, designing learning experiences and developing future talent.

What you would do

• Develop and implement the resort's L&D strategy, aligned with business priorities and Soneva's philosophy.
• Identify capability gaps and design practical learning programmes that improve host and team performance.
• Lead engaging training, coaching and experiential learning initiatives across all departments.
• Develop leadership capabilities, talent pipelines and structured career development pathways.
• Partner with Heads of Teams to strengthen on-the-job learning and performance improvement.
• Oversee host induction, mandatory training and departmental learning standards.
• Introduce innovative learning approaches, digital tools and blended learning experiences.
• Measure learning effectiveness and demonstrate improvements in capability and operational performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, personal growth and meaningful host development.

What they are looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior training or L&D role, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Degree or diploma in Learning & Development, Hospitality, Human Resources or a related field.
• Professional training certifications such as CHT, CHE or CPTD are an advantage.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership and talent development programmes.
• Experience in training needs analysis, instructional design and learning evaluation.
• Strong understanding of luxury resort operations and service excellence.
