Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Providing support to the Principal in carrying out administrative responsibilities included in the Principal's work. In this way, working with the Principal in implementing the principles and plans that the school operates on, and assisting in carrying forward the school's work smoothly and properly.
- Organizing the administrative support responsibilities that the Principal carries out day to day. In this way, meeting with the Principal every day and determining the schedule for that day in an organized manner, and proceeding with the matters that are incurred to be done according to the principles set.
- Welcoming visitors to the school; answering phone calls and routing such calls to relevant parties; receiving messages and delivering them to the parties who need to respond; clarifying the school's principles; providing information about programs run by the school.
- Coordinating the work of arranging substitutes on days when teachers are absent; preparing time sheets and sub folders for substitute teachers; providing timetables to substitute teachers; maintaining logs of days when teachers are absent and maintaining time sheets of substitute teachers; notifying relevant parties according to the principles set for days when teachers are absent.
- Forwarding emails received to the school's official email to relevant staff and replying to emails that need to be answered; drafting various types of documents such as sittings and lists and reports and flyers and forms and similar writings and completing them with feedback from the parties who need to review; proofreading documents published by the school; preparing and maintaining various reports and files and data related to students and staff and school operations.
- Processing enrollment of newly admitted students and documents of students who have left the school; completing records at the end of the academic term.
- Printing worksheets and test papers according to the principles provided by the leading teachers and in a manner that allows teachers to use those materials.
- Printing materials for photocopying and printing that are assigned day to day in administrative operations.
- Printing all materials that need to be printed, stapling them, bundling them, laminating them, and binding the materials that need to be bound in a manner that is leak-proof and carefully maintained.
- Before obtaining the materials needed in connection with the printing work, allowing the necessary time (extending no more than 7 days after official holidays) and requesting the items from the department and monitoring how the process proceeds.
- Keeping special logs to check how the materials needed for printing are used, using the materials, and providing all the information that the school's users need in connection with this matter according to regulations.
- Carefully maintaining and servicing the machines and other equipment used in printing and arranging matters so that these items do not interfere with the school's printing process.
- Making, printing, and completing canvases and other materials needed for events under the guidance of the Event Coordinator, and making and printing certificates needed for events and functions.
- Protecting and maintaining all machinery and other items in the printing room and servicing and maintaining all machines used for printing.
Requirements of the post
A certificate level 4 of the National Qualification Framework of Maldives or an Advanced Certificate in a field related to the duties of the post must be obtained from a recognised institution.

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
