What you would do

• Participate in daily departmental/unit briefings.
• Ensure that the cleaning protocols and procedures are executed accordingly.
• Help ensure that all areas of the hospital, including guest rooms, public spaces and administrative areas, are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Monitor and inspect cleaning processes to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
• Respond to patient and visitor concerns or complaints related to cleanliness.
• Work with other supervisors to train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and personal protective gear.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and maintenance, to coordinate cleaning schedules and address facility needs.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for hospital administration and regulatory agencies as required.

• Completed GCE A' Level
• Minimum 3 years' related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven operational supervisory skills and thorough understanding of the role
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst maintaining a calm demeanor
