About the role
A skilled Powerhouse Operator with Mechanical or Electrical background is needed to support the safe and efficient operation of the resort's power generation and utility systems at The Halcyon Private Isles Maldives.

What you would do
- Operate and monitor diesel generators, electrical systems, and powerhouse equipment.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections, readings, and operational checks.
- Identify and report faults, abnormalities, and breakdowns promptly.
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and equipment records.
- Ensure a continuous and reliable power supply to the resort.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized powerhouse.
- Support the Engineering team during maintenance, repairs, and emergencies.
What they are looking for
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification with minimum 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or industrial environment.
- Practical knowledge of generators, electrical/mechanical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong safety awareness, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a technical team, flexible shifts, and a remote island environment.
- Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
