Post: Assistant Administrative Officer
Location: Muli Airport (MUM)

 Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completed A’ Levels with 3 passes

Additional Requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the airport office’s general administrative requirements are met, including office supplies, equipment, correspondence, filing, and other shared office functions.
  2. Provide administrative support for HR, Administration, Procurement, and Finance activities in coordination with the relevant Head Office departments.
  3. Assist with daily HR-related activities, including attendance management, payroll-related matters, recruitment, employee records, staff documentation, and other HR administrative requirements.
  4. Assist with procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase requests, obtaining quotations, maintaining procurement records, and coordinating with Head Office as required.
  5. Assist with finance-related administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation, invoice processing, payment-related records, and submission of required documents to Head Office.
  6. Attend to front desk and reception duties when required, including receiving visitors, handling calls, and directing enquiries to the relevant personnel.
  7. Maintain airport office records, registers, correspondence, and other administrative documentation, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  8. Assist in maintaining the Customer Complaints and Feedback Register, including recording complaints and feedback and issuing initial acknowledgements where required.
  9. Provide administrative support for airport maintenance and operational requirements, including preparing documentation, coordinating requests, and following up with relevant sections or Head Office.
  10. Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and official visitors as required.
  11. Provide administrative support during meetings, events, training programmes, and other airport activities as required.
  12. Ensure daily office administration is maintained, including organizing office areas, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, and opening and closing the office when required.
  13. Coordinate with airport management, Head Office departments, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure administrative matters are followed up and completed on time.
  14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Office or the relevant supervisor from time to time.

 Remuneration Package:

  • Basic Salary: MVR 8,000.00
  • Daily Allowance: MVR 150.00 per day attended to work

Responsibilities

  1. Participate in ARFF training programs, drills, lectures, fire exercises, and physical fitness training as directed.
  2. Learn and familiarize yourself with ARFF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety practices and operational guidelines.
  3. Assist in station duties, including cleaning and upkeep of the fire station, vehicles, vessels and equipment.
  4. Be on standby on the airside during aircraft arrivals and departures as per duty roster, under direct supervision of the shift in charge/crew commander.
  5. Observe and support emergency response operations during incidents while positioned at designated standby locations.
  6. Assist in basic inspection and readiness checks of equipment and station facilities under supervision.
  7. Ensure proper care and maintenance of assigned personal protective equipment (PPE).
  8. Maintain required medical and physical fitness standards in accordance with ARFF Medical and Physical Requirements.
  9. Maintain discipline, punctuality, and readiness to meet training and operational requirements.
  10. Comply with all lawful instructions issued by Leading Firefighters, Sub Officers and higher-ranking officers.
  11. Perform any other training, standby, or support duties assigned by ARFF Supervisors or Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in planning, coordinating, and carrying out general maintenance and repair works for airport buildings and facilities in coordination with the Section Head.
  2. Support the Maintenance team in daily maintenance activities, operational projects, and maintenance improvements.
  3. Monitor and assign tasks to drivers and cleaning and gardening agents and ensure the timely completion of assigned duties.
  4. Coordinate and monitor airport waste collection and disposal activities.
  5. Oversee cleaning of airport roads and road drainage systems.
  6. Support the maintenance of grass, forest areas, and vegetation around the runway edges and surrounding areas.
  7. Assist with maintenance inspections, audits, safety requirements, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  8. Assist in planning and scheduling preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
  9. Coordinate maintenance work with other departments, service providers, vendors, and external parties in coordination with the Section Head.
  10. P Provide recommendations for operational changes to improve equipment maintenance and operational practices, contributing to overall efficiency.
  11. Assist in preparing maintenance budgets, cost analyses, reports, statistics, and other required information.
  12. Support safety and awareness training and promote safe equipment use and maintenance practices.
  13. Assist in reviewing and updating maintenance procedures, routines, operational plans and company documents.
