Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Managing all materials and finances received by the school in accordance with the state finance law and regulations, and maintaining them.
- Executing the payment of salaries and allowances to employees in accordance with state finance laws and regulations.
- Submitting budget reports and accounts within the timeframes set for completion to the relevant parties within the specified period.
- Preparing financial accounts and documents to be prepared by the school, and submitting all administrative reports and documents to be completed by the specified deadlines to the relevant parties.
- Checking and maintaining the condition and security of school classrooms, offices, storerooms, laboratories and all facilities in accordance with regulations, and carrying out administrative work necessary for maintaining the service of these places under the supervisor's guidance.
- Checking and maintaining the cleanliness and security of the school grounds, roads, buildings, places and equipment in accordance with regulations, and supervising the work carried out by the School Support Assistant working on related tasks.
- Maintaining and managing files and records of documents kept administratively in the school.
- Opening and closing the office during official and unofficial hours at the prescribed times.
- Entering and maintaining incoming documents to the school and logging and maintaining outgoing documents from the school.
- Providing reception service for the school.
- Preparing and sending general administrative documents to various parties that need to be sent from the school.
- Keeping attendance records for school days and meetings in accordance with regulations, and maintaining records for the relevant authorized parties.
- Handling the finances of the teachers' and support staff association in accordance with finance law and regulations, and providing assistance in such matters.
- Arranging for repairs of damage to school buildings and equipment and maintaining such arrangements.
- Maintaining employee files in proper order.
- Preparing and filing employee contracts and agreements and employee records.
- Making necessary decisions within the school regarding work visa matters relating to foreign employees within the prescribed timeframes.
- Managing all matters relating to procurement documentation necessary for acquiring materials and services required by the school in accordance with state finance laws and regulations.
- Providing assistance in special events organized by the school and performing other tasks assigned from within the scope of the post.
- Maintaining an inventory of school fixed assets.
- Acquiring items needed for the school's stock, issuing items from the stock, and maintaining stock records in proper order.
- Carrying out work related to tenders that are in progress at the school under the supervisor's guidance.
Requirements of the post
- Having obtained a grade "E" or above in 2 subjects in the Primary School Leaving Certificate or equivalent examination, and having obtained a grade "C" or below in the "Dhivehi" subject in the Secondary School or Higher Secondary School Certificate examination.
or;
- Secondary or equivalent examination with grade "D" in at least 2 subjects, and Secondary School or Higher Secondary School Certificate examination with grade "C" in Dhivehi, along with 4 years of work experience in the field of the post.

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
