Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Experience in construction procurement, preferably involving international suppliers.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and BOQs and evaluate quantities and costs.
- Understanding of international trade terms, shipping processes and import documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination and Excel skills.

Responsibilities
- 01Coordinate with consultants on procurement requirements and approvals.
- 02Review drawings, specifications and BOQs, verify quantities and prepare procurement schedules aligned with the construction programme.
- 03Submit material selections, samples and cost comparisons, following up on pending approvals.
- 04Identify and evaluate overseas suppliers for construction materials, finishes, fittings and equipment.
- 05Obtain quotations, compare technical and commercial offers, calculate landed costs and negotiate terms within delegated authority.
- 06Obtain required approvals and prepare accurate purchase orders.
- 07Monitor production, quality, shipping, import documentation and delivery schedules.
- 08Coordinate with Finance, suppliers, logistics and site teams to resolve delays, shortages, damages and warranty issues.
- 09Monitor procurement costs against budgets and assess the impact of changes or substitutions.
- 10Update the Bison Project Manager on progress, pending approvals, delivery risks and cost implications.
