• Looking after the building on duty, the grounds, and the items in that area
• Other than persons coming to use the office in the building on duty, not allowing anyone into that place without a permit from the relevant authority
• Turning on and off the lights in and around the building and grounds, in the usual way
• Opening and closing the premises under the care of the Security Officers (at set times, opening and closing the gate)
• Reporting problems arising in the area to the relevant authorities from time to time, as per the regulations
• Assisting with the important work carried out in the office
• Carrying out the work of night-shift employees and of employees on leave, as directed by the authorities

• If work is done in extra hours, overtime pay shall be provided in accordance with established procedures.
• In addition to the basic salary and service allowance given to the employee, a Special Duty Allowance (35% of the basic salary) shall be given.

• Education and training acquired (in relevant field)
• Work experience acquired (in relevant field)
• Skills acquired (Interview/Practicals)

• A clear copy of an identity card showing that the holder is a Maldivian citizen whose card has not expired
• An official letter showing the responsibilities of the post held or previously held by the applicant, if the applicant is or was employed in a post

During this period, the University has the discretion to dismiss the employee without notice, based on the performance and conduct of the employee's work. During this probation period, the University may terminate the employment without providing any notice.
