Main responsibilities and duties of the post
- Assisting in preparing ice under the supervision of the supervisor.
- Taking part in activities required for participation in trips made to establish ice supplies.
- Carrying out tasks assigned in connection with the official work of the centre.
- Assisting in storing goods brought to the centre.
- Assisting with loading and unloading for ice trips.
- Assisting in transporting goods to be collected from pharmacies in Malé and Hulhumalé to the centre.
- Assisting, when required, in the work of keeping the Fuel Centre clean and maintained.
Requirements of the post
1- Ability to read and write, or
2- Having 4 years of work experience in a field related to the post.

5- Copies of educational certificates received;
(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.
(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.
6- Copies of documents relevant to the following categories showing work experience:
(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).
(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.
(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.
(b) If employed in a registered government institution, or a registered private company or private
- institution, or a registered national or international organisation or association, the job held and the duration of employment (expressed in years, months and days), job responsibilities (even if employed in different posts of one institution) must be stated separately, and if no letter from that office has been issued, the "Reference Check Form for Employment Applicant" in Schedule 8 of the Recruitment Principles.
