About the role
In order to carry out various tasks related to municipal services provided by the Council, a pool of employees working under the Wage Employment system is required.
Post: Municipal Council Assistant - Wage
Requirement: 1) Ability to read and write.
2) Having completed 18 years of age.
Number of posts: 04
Salary: MVR 75.00 per hour
Working hours: 04 days per week – 04 hours per day
Duration of employment: From the date of employment until 31 December 2027
Type of employment: Casual (Wage Employment)
Responsibilities of the post:
- Carrying out minor repair work at all places maintained by the Council.
- Keeping all places maintained under the supervisor's guidance clean and tidy.
- Providing assistance in carrying out the island administration and municipal service tasks provided by the Council administration.
- Providing the assistance the Council requires at its various events and activities.
- To fully assist in implementing the decisions approved by the Council, and to perform all administrative tasks required in implementing such decisions under the guidance of the Secretary General or the Supervisor.
- Responsibility and accountability to the Council and the Secretary General in all matters relating to the work of the Council's administration.
Determining a suitable party: The most suitable candidates from among those who submit forms to apply for this post will be determined by interview.
