- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury resort environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and international culinary standards
- Ability to lead, train, motivate, and supervise a multicultural culinary team while ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork
- Ability to conduct regular kitchen inspections and ensure compliance with cleanliness, storage, labelling, temperature-control, and stock-rotation requirements
- Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, allergen management, and workplace health and safety standards
