Main responsibilities and duties of the post

  1. Monitoring staff attendance on a daily basis and preparing monthly attendance reports, and after preparing a 16th day of each Gregorian month report and submitting to the budget section, maintaining staff salaries and leave matters and preparing leave approval forms.
  2. Writing and preparing items such as SMS and messages that need to be written relating to staff positions and sending them. Additionally, when requesting an announcement to fill vacancies needed by the school, submitting complete information needed for the advertisement, and upon the deadline for announcing the posts expiring, preparing interview forms, and after the interview is completed, sending all documents needed to regularise employment along with educational unit.
  3. Maintaining the school's inventory regulations.
  4. Maintaining the boundaries of all school buildings and staff accommodation boundaries, and distributing and maintaining them for staff.
  5. Maintaining the register of employees. Following this process, the information of employees joining the post and employees leaving or transferring from the post must be recorded in the register as shown in the format.

Requirements of the post

1- Along with holding a Level 3 Maldives National Qualifications Framework certificate from a field related to the post's work, having obtained a grade of 'C' or above in the 'Dhivehi' subject in the Secondary School or Higher Secondary School Certificate examination.

or;

2- Having obtained a grade of 'C' or above in the 'Dhivehi' subject in the Secondary School Certificate examination, along with having obtained a grade of 'D' or above in at least 2 subjects in an examination equivalent to or higher than Senior Secondary level.

Scope of duties of the post

Work related to administrative management and administration, human resources, finance and related technical work, and study and administrative work.

  4. If a staff member with a service agreement to serve the Civil Service / Government is transferred to this position, a letter issued by the office providing the service stating that there is no objection to leaving the position.
  5. Copies of educational certificates obtained;

(a) For educational certificates issued by institutions outside Maldives that have been graded by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a certain level, copies of the educational certificate and transcript; or: in cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the letter confirming completion of the course and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.

(b) Copies of educational certificates and transcript issued by local educational institutions in Maldives; or copies of letter confirming completion of the course and copies of transcript.

  1. Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:

(a) If work experience has been gained in a civil service post, in a state institution, in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(b) For work experience within the civil service that cannot be verified from https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/, a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period (in years, months and days) confirmed by that office, and stating the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each).

(c) If work experience has been gained in a private company or private organisation, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) and the number of staff at the workplace.

(d) If work has been undertaken in a national or international association or society, a letter from that organisation stating the work undertaken, and the period (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each). This letter should state whether the position held is a salaried position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organisation confirming this.

(e) If work has been undertaken in a dissolved state institution, or in a dissolved private company or private organisation, or in a dissolved national or international society or association, and a letter from that office stating the work undertaken and the period of work (in years, months and days) and the responsibilities of the post (if work has been undertaken in different posts in one institution, the responsibilities should be stated separately for each) cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Work Experience from a Dissolved Workplace" found in Table 8 of the Recruitment Rules.
