About the role
Lead culinary operations of the team cafeteria at Noku Maldives by Vignette Collection, providing high-quality, cost-effective and sustainable meals.

What you would do
- Implement and continuously improve HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, staff discipline and HR administration aligned with operational needs
- Oversee expatriate visa and work permit processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Maintain confidentiality and proper filing of employee records, both digital and paper-based
- Lead employee communications, promote company values and foster positive staff relations
- Handle grievances, disciplinary procedures, and recognition programs with fairness and professionalism
- Supervise staff accommodation, welfare and related facilities
- Provide analysis and HR data insights to support management decision making
What they are looking for
- Minimum of 5 years in culinary roles, including 2 years in a supervisory position
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and cost control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physically fit to handle standing, walking, and lifting requirements
- Experience in the Maldives resort industry is preferred but not required
