About the role
Lead all culinary operations across a luxury island resort in Meemu Atoll, Maldives, maintaining five-star dining standards and guest satisfaction.

What you would do
- Lead and oversee all culinary operations across the resort
- Maintain excellence in food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Develop innovative menus and memorable dining experiences
- Ensure culinary offerings meet luxury five-star standards
- Manage food costs, inventory, wastage, and departmental budgets
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multicultural culinary team
- Oversee kitchen staffing, productivity, and performance standards
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Work closely with F&B to enhance guest satisfaction and dining concepts
- Drive continuous improvement across all kitchen operations
What they are looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a five-star luxury resort or hotel
- Strong experience managing multiple restaurants, kitchens, and diverse culinary concepts
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, menu development, food trends, and contemporary culinary techniques
- Strong knowledge of food costing, budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, purchasing, and waste control
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a multicultural culinary team
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, sanitation, allergen management, and food safety standards
- Ability to consistently maintain five-star food quality, presentation, and culinary standards
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Previous experience in a luxury island resort environment is an advantage
- Culinary qualification or relevant professional certification preferred
