- Good knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portioning standards accurately
- Good attention to detail and willingness to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment
- Willingness to learn new techniques and develop culinary skills
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Previous experience in the Maldives is an added advantage
