  • Ability to read and write; or having 4 years of work experience in the field of the post's work;
  • Being between 18 and 45 years of age;
  • Not being a person convicted of a crime prohibited in Islamic law, within the past 05 years, proven by Islamic law;
  • Not being a person convicted within the past 05 years, proven by Islamic law, of theft, fraud, forgery, embezzlement, betrayal or any crime set out in Law No. 2011/17 (Law on Money Laundering);
  • Not being a person who has been debarred from prohibited transactions and who has not sought rehabilitation within the past 05 years;
  • Not having been prosecuted within the past 05 years in connection with any criminal matter;
  • Not being a person registered as a member of any registered political party in the Maldives;
  • Not being a person who has been dismissed from Dhivehi Civil Service employment;
  • Not being a person separated from another office position on ethical grounds or any other matter; and
  • Not being retired from any government post.

Areas to be considered in assessing work experience

  • Work related to cleaning compounds / record keeping and work related to maintaining buildings and property.

  • Appointment to the post is subject to passing background assessment, interview and medical examination for shortlisted candidates.
  • When selecting people for this position, candidates with work experience in fields related to the post's work may be exempted.

(If the certificate is from an institution outside the Maldives, an attested copy accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority. If the certificate has not been obtained, an attested copy of the course completion letter from the university or college and the assessment report issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority)
  • Copies of obtained professional certificates
  • Passport size photograph of the person not taken more than 3 months ago (to be attached to the form)
  • If working in another position, a letter stating no objection from the place of work
  • Copies of letters stating work experience (if previously employed or currently employed, letters showing the duration of employment in those positions and the responsibilities of those positions)
