Main responsibilities and duties of the post

  1. Maintaining records related to employees working in the office and carrying out work related to providing human resources.
  2. Sending documents to hospitals and other institutions as needed to the Supervisor from time to time.
  3. Assisting in arranging the duties of teams visiting the health centre and carrying out those tasks forward.
  4. Filing and maintaining documents sent from the health centre to various parties and documents received by the health centre from various parties in an orderly manner.
  5. Assisting in the work of requisitioning supplies needed by the health centre.
  6. Assisting in awareness programmes run by the Public Health Unit.
  7. Posting information and regulations that the public needs to know on the health centre's notice board.
  8. Preparing and returning documents submitted for various needs to the required parties.
  9. Entering all documents arriving at the office and submitting them to staff, and under the guidance of staff, submitting documents to the sections to which the document should be submitted.
  10. Participation in health emergencies, pandemics and disaster-related work.

Requirements of the post

Possession of a Diploma at Level 5 of Maldives National Qualifications or an Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree at Level 6 in an educational field related to the duties of the post.

  4. Copies of educational certificates obtained;

(a) Educational certificates and transcripts issued by foreign higher education institutions recognised and accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority; or: in cases where no certificate is available, a course completion letter and a copy of the M.Q.A Assessment Report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority;

(a) A copy of educational certificates and transcript issued by a local education centre providing secondary education in Maldives; or a copy of course completion certificate and transcript. (Except for Maldives National University and Islamic University of Maldives, course completion certificates (Course Completion Letter) issued by local secondary education centres in Maldives are considered valid if the letter includes the authorization number issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority to "Batch Validate" certificates to relevant authorities.)

  1. Copies of documents covering the following criteria providing work experience:

(a) If employed in a civil service post, a state institution, a government-owned company or an organization, a letter issued by that office stating the position held, and the duration of employment (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (even if employment was held in different positions in one office).

(b) For experience within civil service that cannot be seen at https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv, a letter issued by that office stating the employment duration can be verified, and the duration of employment (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (even if employment was held in different positions in one office).

(c) If employment was held in a private company or private institution, a letter issued by that office stating the position held, the duration of employment (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the post (even if employment was held in different positions in one office) and the number of employees at the workplace.

(d) If employed in a national or international organization or association, a letter issued by that organization stating the position held, and the duration of employment (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (even if employment was held in different positions in one office). (This letter must indicate whether the position held was a paid position or not. Alternatively, an official letter from that organization stating this fact must be submitted.)

(e) If employment was held in a closed state institution, or a closed private company or private institution, or a closed national or international organization or association, a letter issued by that office stating the position held and the duration of employment (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the post (even if employment was held in different positions in one office). If such a letter cannot be obtained, the reference check form for the applicant must be completed.

Criteria to be considered for the person to be most suitable for this post

Note: Appointment to the post will be made only to those who score at least 60% (sixty percent) in all criteria.
